Medical Technology Covenant

The Medical Technology Covenant is an agreement that ensures that medical technology is used safely and responsibly in hospitals and healthcare institutions. It defines the responsibilities for the quality assurance of medical technologies and focuses on three pillars: a safe product, a trained user, and an environment that guarantees safe use.

The covenant was developed by the Dutch Hospital Association (NVZ), the Dutch Federation of University Medical Centers (NFU), the Netherlands Rehabilitation Association (RN) and the Independent Clinics Netherlands (ZKN). These organizations have worked together to create a standard that ensures patient safety and quality of care through the safe application of medical technology.

If you have any comments or ideas, we would like to hear them via zorg@nevi.nl. This way we can further improve the conditions, explanations and modules.
