Nevi Healthcare launches three new national model agreements for the healthcare sector

News 2 minutes 11 November 2025

Nevi Healthcare introduces three new national model agreements to help healthcare providers and suppliers collaborate faster and more efficiently. The documents offer a uniform, legally balanced foundation for contracting within the healthcare sector.

Zeist, 11 November 2025 – Today, Nevi Healthcare launches three new national model agreements for the Dutch healthcare sector:
  • the Model Agreement for Products,
  • the revised Model Agreement for Medical (Sub)Systems, and
  • the new Model Agreement for Loan of Medical Demonstration or Trial Equipment.

These model agreements provide healthcare institutions and suppliers with a uniform, balanced foundation for contracting products and medical (sub)systems. The new loan agreement also helps parties arrange the demonstration or trial placement of medical equipment transparently and safely.

For the approximately 2,500 healthcare institutions in the Netherlands, these three model agreements are of major importance. They make it possible to reach clear agreements more quickly, easily, and with less administrative burden. The practical, legally aligned templates are designed for use throughout the entire sector.

Unique in Europe

With the introduction of these national model agreements, the Netherlands takes a unique position in Europe. While in many other countries contracts are often drawn up unilaterally from the purchasing side, these agreements have been developed in collaboration between buyers and suppliers.

The model agreements are applicable across the entire healthcare landscape – from hospitals and elderly care to disability care and mental healthcare.

Development process

The model agreements were developed by working groups within Nevi Care, consisting of representatives from healthcare institutions, suppliers, and collaboration networks such as Intrakoop, IAZ, IFZ, mProve, Santeon, and Zorgservice XL.

The development was led by Monique van der Ben (Vivantes), Simone Dassen (Antonius), and Joost Franken (Dräger Nederland).

The model agreements, including explanatory notes, are available along with other Nevi Healthcare tools – such as the AIVG 2022 – at:
