Smart procurement strengthens organisations. It determines who you work with, how efficiently you operate and the value you add across the supply chain. With the Private Procurement Talent Programme, you learn how to create strategic value within an organisation. Over 14 months, you develop into a fully fledged procurement professional at leading companies such as Rabobank, FrieslandCampina or Stork. You connect theory directly to practice through assignments, inspiration sessions and personal coaching both at your workplace and through Nevi.

This programme includes a selection process. You apply directly to one of the participating organisations; once accepted, you start the traineeship and combine learning and working within the private sector.

Who is the Private Procurement Talent Programme for?

The programme is designed for graduates with a bachelor’s or master’s degree who are interested in procurement, business and strategy. You are analytically strong, communicative and eager to grow quickly within the private sector. Career switchers with backgrounds in fields such as business administration, engineering or economics are also welcome.

What does the traineeship involve?

  • You work four days a week at a commercial organisation and spend one day a week in training at Nevi.
  • Across 18 intensive training days, you dive into topics such as sourcing & negotiations, stakeholder management, supplier relationship management, cost management and category management.
  • Everything you learn is applied directly in your day‑to‑day work.
  • Together with other trainees, you work on real‑life cases, attend lectures from experts and meet professionals during events such as the College Tour.
  • This way, you build not only knowledge but also a network that accelerates your career.


What does it offer you?

  • After completing the programme, you receive the PTP certificate — a recognised quality mark within the field.
  • You build a solid foundation in strategic procurement and develop essential skills such as negotiation, advisory work and collaboration.
