With many years of hands‑on experience in the public sector, Cor Tromp — procurement adviser at the Province of Zeeland — wanted to broaden his perspective. The Nevi Procurement Executive Programme offered exactly the depth he was looking for.

As a procurement adviser for the province, Cor already had a solid foundation, but he wanted to strengthen his role. When you strip away the context, you end up with a shared procurement core. It can be incredibly valuable to learn about procurement practices that are completely normal in one sector but not yet common in the public domain.”

Cor advises future participants to prepare well. “Take enough time to study the material beforehand. That way, you can go deeper during the course days. It also helps to think in advance about what you want to learn and what you bring to the table yourself.”
