Nevi HBO Procurement Experience 2025: Inspiration, collaboration and talent development

Collaboration with five universities of applied sciences

Nevi is proud to collaborate with five universities of applied sciences: The Hague University of Applied Sciences, Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences, Windesheim (Zwolle), Hanze University of Applied Sciences (Groningen) and Zuyd University of Applied Sciences (Heerlen). We welcome around 170 students who are at the start of their Procurement minor. The aim of the Procurement Experience is to introduce them to the broad and impactful procurement profession — and to inspire them to pursue a career as a procurement professional after graduation.

Varied programme with awards

In cooperation with the Ministry of Defence and EPSA Procurement, a varied programme has been developed. Students take part in inspiring sessions, meet professionals from the field and compete for special awards. During the event, the title Smartest Procurement Student will be presented, and the Nevi HBO Procurement Challenge Award will also take place.

Sponsors and practical marketplace

Sponsors will also be present during the Procurement Experience. They will showcase their organisations at the practical marketplace, where they engage with students and demonstrate how procurement and contract management contribute to meaningful impact. Their young professionals share insights from their work and give students a glimpse into the career opportunities available. For sponsors, this offers valuable visibility and the chance to connect with the next generation of procurement and CLM professionals.

Social impact

For six years now, we have created a place where young talent and experienced procurement professionals meet, exchange ideas and look ahead together. With the HBO Procurement Experience, we build a bridge to tomorrow’s labour market — showing young talent, in an inspiring way, how important and versatile the procurement profession truly is.
